I find it appropriate that I started my solo practice four years ago and that Independence Day was only 3 days later.  Over the past four years I have never regretted cutting ties with my old firm and heading out on my own.  I am most thankful to my family (particularly my wife) and a great set of friends and clients for the support and encouragement.  Without this support, the venture would not have been half so successful or as much fun.

Now, it’s time to take a break for a day to spend time with family and friends thinking about the freedoms that allowed me to spread my wings and to reflect on the great country (warts and all) in which we live.

Here’s wishing you all the best on this 4th of July from Construction Law Musings.  I hope that your holiday is a great one!
