		<description>Great observations, I cant count the number of times the insurance companies settlement authority is somewhere else and can only be reached by phone.

I think one more way is fail to be realistic.

It is rare that a party agrees to go to mediation that does not have some fault. Be honest and recognize that you (as well as others) made mistakes, be willing to take your share of the fault and not blame everything on someone else.</description>
