My friends at Clio, the cloud based practice management software that I have used since starting my solo practice (I recommend you check it out by the way), will be hosting the inaugural Clio Cloud Conference on September 23 and 24, 2013 in Chicago.
While I don’t usually promote conferences (particularly those at which I will not be a speaker), this conference has my stamp of approval. Firstly, I have used Clio for the almost 3 years of my practice and have found their customer service to be great and their constant innovation to be even better. Secondly, I have reviewed the conference session information and the speakers and topics are great. Aside from the usual marketing information, the sessions cover everything from cloud based lawyering and ethics to (of course) the best ways to use Clio.
Finally, I, as a solo construction attorney, am a big believer in the proper and secure use of the cloud in my law practice. Frankly, without being in the “cloud,” I would be in a higher stress and lower productivity position. My practice is streamlined through the use of the cloud for many document and practice management tasks.
