Thoughts on construction law from Christopher G. Hill, Virginia construction lawyer, LEED AP, mediator, and member of the Virginia Legal Elite in Construction Law

ICMY: Christopher Hill and Law Office of Christopher G. Hill Provides ADR Services

Capri23auto @ PixabayI’ve spoken many times here at Construction Law Musings about arbitration and mediation and their various pros and cons.  If you’re a long-time reader (and I hope that you are), you know that I love mediation and am a bit more tepid about arbitration (mostly due to costs).

For a few years now, I’ve provided mediation services through my firm and, less so, arbitration services.  As a mediator, I have found that I can help the parties reach a compromise that they can live with.  I have also sought to provide cost-effective arbitration services.  My experience with construction law and familiarity with Virginia construction law helps me with both types of alternate dispute resolution.

For these reasons, I am seeking to provide these ADR services as a larger portion of my construction law practice.

If you are a construction professional or attorney in Virginia and need assistance either through arbitration or mediation, please don’t hesitate to contact me to act as your mediator or arbitrator.
